Increased Limits on Attachment For Products Liability Lead Excess

Great news! Maximum attachment point has been expanded for Products Liability. We can now attach excess of $1 million to $10 million. Highlights of our lead excess coverage follow:

• Available on a lead excess basis only
• Follow form coverage, claims made only
• Excess of stand-alone claims made Products Liability
• Excess of claims made Products Liability including GL
• Not available over Markel Shand accounts
• Available on coverage issued by other E&S carriers, including: AIG, Admiral, ACE, CNA, Chubb, Colony, Darwin, Medmarc, One Beacon, RSUI, Zurich
• Limits: $5MM/5MM excess of primary coverage (maximum attachment is $10MM/10MM).

Target classes: all Products Liability markel Shand classes including equipment, chemicals, vitamins, supplements, drugs, motor vehicles, sporting goods, medical related products, and more.

Unacceptable classes: latex examination gloves, environmental risks/landfill liners, tree stands, silicone breast implants, tobacco, hand guns, asbestos.
