Products Liability Recall Expense Coverage is Now Available

Earlier this year we introduced Products Liability Recall Expense endorsements for our EIC701 and PD22000 policy forms. If you're looking for recall coverage for a Products Liability account, please remember we are now a market. Coverage highlights follow:

• Endorsements targeted to manufacturing companies and distributors of all types of products.
• Exceptions include: marine, aviation, structural building products, utilities, environmental products and medical implants.
• Products originating in China acceptable.
• Minimum premium: $1,000 for $1MM/2MM limits. Or 15-25% of the products liability policy premium, whichever is higher.
• Recall limits available:
• For policies with limits of $1MM/2MM: up to $250,000/250,000 with a deductible equal to the policy deductible.
• For policies with a deductible equal to the policy deductible.
