A:  Again, sorry, you need to get in touch with your retail agent.

Q:  Does coverage written through Markel cost more?

A:  Regulations mandate that excess and surplus lines coverage does not have the same pricing as the standard admitted market.  At Markel, each case is evaluated by skilled underwriters, using the information which you provide in your application form.  Please be sure your information is accurate and complete, which will prevent unnecessary delays in processing.

A:  We do not have a standard form to fill out.  However, all claims must be submitted in writing.  Please write a letter explaining the situation and include your policy number and contact information.  Consult your policy or the Claims section of this site for additional details.
